Sincere Love Empowers Your Purpose

Sincere Love Empowers Your Purpose

“Grace be with all who love our Lord Jesus Christ with undying and incorruptible love.”. Ephesians 6:24 (AMP)

The plan of the enemy is to undo everything God has done in your life, and to distract you from accessing all Jesus has made available to you through the finished work of the cross. Thankfully, you can wise up to his deceitful tactics and keep him under your feet, while you progress in faith and step into all God has for you in this life. You do this by proactively making use of everything Jesus has placed at your disposal. You have the Word of God! When you meditate on it and obey its instruction, it will clearly lead you in the right direction. You have the Holy Spirit living in you; walking with you; at the ready to fill you with new, overcoming power every day. In all this, remember: the sincerity of your love for the Lord is the foundation. When love is sincere, our obedience to God’s will springs from that love relationship and sustains us. It energizes and enables us to live this empowered life of faith and purpose in Him, while keeping the devil under our feet – where he belongs.

You Have God’s Word on It!

You Have God’s Word on It!

“The law of the Lord is perfect, restoring the [whole] person; the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.”Psalm 19:7 (AMP)

God’s Word is perfect. There is nothing lacking or incomplete in it. It’s rock solid and dependable. When we receive it into our minds and hearts with the right attitude, it goes to work bringing life and restoration to every part of us. So what is the right attitude we should have when it comes to God’s Word? To begin with, we need to see it for what it is. It’s an extension of God Himself… Which means it’s the ultimate truth and it cannot fail. It’s also alive with God’s love and power. When we read it, no matter what the world looks like around us, no matter how we are feeling at the time, God’s Word has the power to comfort us, build a sure hope inside us, and overwhelm us with perfect peace. It really becomes an anchor to our souls. What’s more, we can fully trust it to do its transforming work in us, moulding us into the character of Christ. Psalm 19:7 says the testimony of the Lord is sure. His testimony is His sworn statement; that validates the credibility of His written Word. This means we can believe God’s written word will do all it says it will do in us, because we have God’s own spoken Word on it. Embrace God’s Word today – let it restore, perfect and transform you – you know it will, because you have His Word on it!

The Word – a Firm Foundation

“And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.”Jeremiah 29:13 (NKJV)

A solid foundation of the Word of God in our lives will determine our reaction and disposition to life and its circumstances. Think about the events that have taken the whole world by surprise of late. Every nation under the sun was shaken. The reaction of many Christians has been proof they never had the right foundation. Some were completely disillusioned and ran in stark terror to “isolate” themselves; while others looked to government leaders for help and guidance. The Bible says the Church is the authority of Jesus in the earth (Luke 10:19). It says the increase of God’s kingdom rule and peace here will never end while we occupy earth (Isaiah 9:7). And Proverbs 4:18 declares that the path of the righteous shines brighter and brighter until it reaches its full strength and glory in the perfect day! The truth of the matter is no matter what evil lashes against this earth, God’s children will always be triumphant and victorious, carrying His authority on this earth. The only thing holding us back from this reality is our ignorance to the truth of God’s Word. Never underestimate the power and authority we carry while we are hidden in Christ Jesus and live rooted and grounded in His Word. Wake up to understand its importance in your life and let it set the standard of victory you are supposed to live in. Make God’s Word the firm foundation of your life.

BY PASTOR JOHAN LOURENS

Here is your Word for today:

Verse:   Romans 14:4b

‘And he will stand, for the Lord is able to make him stand.’

– The Lord will sustain you and keep you standing.
– With the Lord’s help you can stand and pass the tests.
– The Lord will strengthen you in the journey of life.
– He will hold you and He will make sure that you don’t fall.

PRAYER: Lord, thank You for Your hand on my life. I recognise that without You I will stumble and fall but with You, I am able to stand and stay standing. Amen.

BOLD PRAYERS BY PASTOR JOHAN

Bold Prayers!

“And now, Lord, observe their threats [take them into account] and grant that Your bond-servants may declare Your message [of salvation] with great confidence,”. Acts 4:29 (AMP)

After the disciples were threatened to never again preach or heal in the Name of Jesus Christ, they got together and did the one thing they knew to do – pray. Their prayer, as recorded in Acts 4, was short, deliberate, bold and to the point. They didn’t beg or seek pity. Instead, they prayed God would grant them more boldness to preach the Word! Backing down was not even an option. How someone prays reveals a great deal about what they believe, and their confidence in their God-given authority. Instead of wailing and travailing, they prayed simple, direct prayers that echoed the will of God. Since they approached the very real threats of the authorities in faith, God granted them their request. And no wonder, since without faith it’s impossible to please Him! This is why not one chapter in the Book of Acts is void of the supernatural. Whatever you are facing or going through, go to the Lord in prayer and pray bold prayers. God is moved by our faith and our willingness to obey Him, in the heat of the challenges we face. May the Lord strengthen you as you step out today in boldness
