This small people group of 5,000 precious souls live in Sichuan Province, they have been oppressed by the larger Nosu minority and have not had the opportunity to hear the gospel or to meet a real Christian.

Sixty thousand people living in Guizhou province are completely dependent on Shamans and witch doctors. These people need to have their eyes opened, but how can they hear without a preacher.

Please pray for the breaking of these strongholds and for the calling of anointed evangelists and missionaires.

Just over 13,000 live in Guizhou province and we have cause for praise here.

In the mid 1990’s a ministry from Hong Kong was able to reach some of these people and several responded, they immediately formed a house church and started a fellowship. They were filled with joy, please pray as they have no bible or resources.

Please pray that this fledging church (probably less than 100) would grow and develop and train up its own leaders

Over 5,000 people trapped in Shamanism, Daoism and Ancestor worship sit in the virtually impenetrable Hunan province, they have never heard the gospel or met a true Christian.

Ming

Fifteen thousand Ming people live deep in Maoxian county, Sichuan province, there is not a single Christian amongst them. The older ming worship in Daoist temples, but most of the young ones are atheists and laugh at their parents so called religion.

Several teams of foreigners have sought to reach out but this is strongly opposed by the authorities. Please pray that these people would hear the gospel and respond to it.

Praise God that 400 of the 1,800 in this people group confess Christ. They were reached by the Lipo believers and despite having no Christian literature, they have kept their faith by singing hymns.

Please pray that this people would have Christian resources and their own bible.

Eastern Minyag
