Togo

Situated on the Atlantic coast of Africa between Benin and Ghana, this country has a short coastline, but it stretches back over 540 kms.

Evangelicals has grown rapidly in the 2000’s, and the numbers are nearly 1 million. Praise God for this.

Pray for economic and political stability in the country, the country has gone through much turmoil. Please pray that church would be salt and light in this situation.

Please pray the establishment of a church based on strong biblical principles.

Please pray for the calling and training of men who can preach and teach the church.

Pray for powerful biblical unity that will impact the church and therefore the country. Pray also for powerful and long lasting revival.

The powers of darkness are very active, especially amongst the Fon and Ewe peoples. Voodoo is widely practices, often by Christians. Please pray for the breaking of these strongholds.

Islam is growing in size and influence, it dominates the commercial and education sectors. Please pray that the church would rise to the challenge.
