Alive in Christ
Be not captive to vain deceit,
Nor spoiled by philosophy;
Rudiments of the world defeat,
Differs from Christianity.
In Him there is a whole fullness,
That the sanctified Godhead dwells;
You have been filled with blessedness,
Of Christ in spiritual morals.
Christ is the head authority,
Having the power of to reign;
The head of principality,
Able to control wind and rain.
For in Him you were circumcised,
Circumcision made without hands;
Iniquities are ostracized,
From the temptation that demands.
Through baptism it’s been buried,
In which you were raised from the dead;
When in one accord it’s agreed,
Through faith and spiritually fed.
